Bob de Bruijn is a senior attorney at law specialising in employment law. Before Bob started to practice as a lawyer in 2008, he worked as a legal consultant for six years, with a specific focus on employment law and public service law. So it is hardly surprising that he now specialises in the Legal Status of Civil Servants Act (Wet Normalisering Rechtspositie Ambtenaren/Wnra). Bob has also written about this subject in the book entitled “Arbeidsrecht in modellen”(2020), a publication that explains Dutch employment law based on model contracts, standard letters and checklists.  He is part of the Government market area at Ten Holter Noordam advocaten.

Bob likes to assume the role of a business partner for his clients. When doing so, he not only provides advice on and puts forward ideas for ongoing issues, he also contributes proactively. For example, by highlighting imminent changes in regulations that may be relevant to his client’s business.

In his spare time, Bob goes running several times a week and enjoys visits to the Dutch Pinball Museum in Rotterdam for a game of pinball.
