Arjan van de Watering is a partner with THNa, and an experienced lawyer in the field of public procurement law. He is also a member of the firm’s Executive Board. Arjan has been a lawyer since 2006, and has more than a decade of experience with public procurement, both in the Netherlands and at the European level. He is an expert in public procurement and construction, and has built up an extensive practice in those areas of the law. This is reflected by multiple nominations for the international Who’s Who Legal as one of the leading legal experts in the field of government and public procurement.
Arjan loves the dynamism of public procurement law, where cases and advice generally need to be completed quickly and long proceedings are mostly avoided. “This requires having the expertise at your fingertips, and being able to litigate and provide strategic advice. I have a talent for this.”
Arjan regularly publishes about public procurement law. He is also a lecturer on the subject, and teaches courses on public procurement of projects.
Arjan van de Watering has been a member of the Executive Board of Ten Holter Noordam advocaten since April 2023. In that capacity, he shares responsibility for the firm’s day-to-day business with the Managing Director and another partner.
