Daniël Blok has been a lawyer at THNa since 2022. He has extensive experience advising and litigating freedom of government information, and counsels government agencies on complicated disclosure matters. His expertise also covers environmental and planning law, nature protection and nitrogen issues, plus zoning and permitting procedures.
As part of THNa’s Public Sector Market Group, Daniël applies his specialist expertise to advise government agencies on requests for information disclosure and on proactive disclosures. He also helps them with permitting processes and planning decisions. He is one of the organisers of THNa’s annual Municipalities Month of a series of sessions dealing with various legal topics that are relevant to government authorities.
Daniël obtained his LLM in Constitutional and Administrative Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2021. He completed a further double LLM programme from the same university in 2022.
