Diede van der Heijden became a lawyer in 2022 and has been working for THNa since January 2022. She advises and litigates on matters relating to area development, real rights, contracts and liability (including in the public sector). Diede’s experience includes public-private partnerships, mutual cooperation between government agencies and cases involving both private law and administrative law.

Diede focuses on municipal authorities, housing corporations and property developers. She understands how they work, and the political choices and sensitive issues that they deal with. She brings a creative and personal approach to finding practical solutions for complicated issues.

Diede van der Heijden regularly writes blogs, including for a monthly series on the duty of care in real estate transactions. She also shares her expertise on LinkedIn, in webinars and during live events, including THNa’s annual Municipalities Month.
