Ilse Harmsen has been working for THNa since 2017. She was invested as a lawyer in 2018, and specialises in insolvency law and company law, frequently acting as a court-appointed bankruptcy trustee. Ilse advises companies and executives on their financial struggles, oversees debt collections and counsels directors and company officers on liability issues. Her focus is on the healthcare sector in particular.
Ilse obtained her LLM in Private Law from Utrecht University in 2016. In 2022 she graduated cum laude from CPO’s post-academic Insolvency Law for Bankruptcy Trustees programme.
Ilse Harmsen lectures in directors’ and officers’ liability at IVO. She is also a member of Rotterdam’s Bankruptcy Committee, and writes for online journal HERO.
