Job Velthuizen has been working for THNa since 2010, as a lawyer specialising in public procurement law and state aid. He advises government agencies and market operators on calls for tenders and on negotiating, drafting and reviewing ICT contracts, letters of intent, partnership agreements and zoning plan derogations for area development.
Job is a member of THNa’s Public Sector Market Group, a multidisciplinary team who offer full-service legal support to government agencies, including municipal and provincial authorities and local waterboards. Job has a keen understanding of the administrative and political context in which those organisations operate. He is proud that his team is recognised throughout the Netherlands as a regular partner to help with complicated legal issues.
Job has LLMs in Law (2008) and Legal Philosophy (2012) from Leiden University. He also has a Bachelor’s degree in Theology (2012). He completed his Public Procurement Law specialist training in 2018, graduating cum laude.
