Jurgen Vermeulen is a partner with THNa, and a lawyer specialising in administrative law and real estate law. He advises and represents municipal authorities and market operators, mostly in matters concerning area development. His particular areas of expertise include public-private partnerships (PPPs), mutual cooperation between government agencies, real estate purchases and eminent domain, cost recovery and zoning plan derogations, environmental law and government liability.
Jurgen is part of THNa’s Public Sector Market Group, where he leads the way in developing and expanding the firm’s services. Municipal authorities are a specific focus of his. He draws on more than three decades of experience in the legal profession to provide them with creative and practical solutions to complicated area development problems, without losing site of the public interests.
Jurgen is listed with LRGD, the Dutch register of judicial experts.
