Menno van Koppen has been working for THNa as a professional support lawyer since 2012. He advises employers and employees on a comprehensive range of employment law issues, although his particular focus is on privacy law and data protection. He is most comfortable with employment law, which he describes as affecting almost every single person. “In this day and age, we spend more time with our colleagues than we do with our partners, family and friends,” Menno explains. “I’m proud to be able to work in an area of the law that affects so many people every day, and help employers and employees navigate the dense maze of rules and regulations.”

Menno is a dedicated lawyer with his own unique approach. His chief strengths are drafting legal texts and turning complicated legal issues into practical solutions. Before joining THNa he lectured in Employment Law at Erasmus University Rotterdam, where he expanded and refined his understanding of employment law.

Menno van Koppen regularly publishes in journals. Co-authoring Ondernemingsrecht in modellen has given him a broader audience for his expertise.
