Sjors Buter has been a lawyer with THNa since October 2022. He specialises in public procurement law, advising on diverse issues in connection with public procurement. He helps both government authorities and market operators with the legal and strategic aspects of their procurement processes.
Sjoerd’s background includes experience at large government organisations such as the Dutch Ministry of Defence, and as public procurement law counsel and a procurement adviser for municipal organisations. He effortlessly bridges the gap between legal theory and the day-to-day practice. Besides public procurement law, he is also interested in construction law (in particular for civil construction), and counsels clients on contracts and disputes in the construction sector.
Sjors Buter obtained his LLM in Construction Law from VU Amsterdam in 2021. During his studies and after his graduation, he worked in consultancy before following his passion and becoming a lawyer with THNa.
