Kelly Both

Kelly Both has been an attorney in the Corporate Law section since 2021, where she primarily focuses on M&A (mergers & acquisitions). With a passion for entrepreneurship, Kelly derives her energy from advising and guiding entrepreneurs. "How wonderful it is to contribute to the realization of entrepreneurial dreams?!" Kelly says enthusiastically.

Whether it's acquiring companies to grow, selling companies to retire, setting up a new business, or winding one down, Kelly provides end-to-end guidance. She also contributes to the stability of companies by drafting shareholder agreements, management agreements, and other entrepreneurship-related matters. Kelly looks beyond the immediate question or problem. She delves into the underlying reasons and wishes of the entrepreneur and seeks practical, pragmatic, and constructive solutions. “Don’t just talk, take action” is her mentality as a true Rotterdammer. Or as they say at her favorite club: “Actions speak louder than words.”

Within the firm, Kelly is part of Maritime Industry market group, focusing on legal issues within the port and trade sectors.

In her free time, Kelly is often found at the gym. She is an avid boxer, body pump enthusiast, and doesn't shy away from a challenging boot camp. These sports activities help her stay balanced, especially considering her other hobbies: enjoying dining out and relaxing on a terrace with a typical dutch tradition "bitterballen".
