Milou Tiemensma
Milou Tiemensma is part of our Corporate Law section. She completed her studies at Erasmus University Rotterdam, where she earned a master's degree in Toga aan de Maas with a basic master's in Private Law.
Milou specializes in litigation and insolvency law. She regularly assists companies in various disputes and represents directors in director liability cases. Additionally, she advises companies facing financial difficulties or dealing with bankrupt clients or subcontractors. In this context, she provides specific advice on securities and guides companies through restructuring processes, including WHOA procedures.
Since early 2023, Milou has been a board member of the Association for Young Insolvency Lawyers (JIRA). She also frequently writes articles and blogs for the online magazine HERO and the Journal for Curators.
In her free time, Milou enjoys being active on her bike or in the kitchen, where she organizes dinners for friends.
